    Division Predictions

Since my only chance to get anywhere relies on Czerwinski, Butler, Garza, Dukes, Bianchi, Adino, and Waldrop all filling out during Spring Training and demanding a MLB Roster spot I feel confident I can start this thread. .

    AL East Prediction:

Boston tried to get into the bidding late and got some signings and also will have a lot of ammo to trade at the deadline with like 20 2nd round picks (I dont remember how many but it was a bunch), but I think Toronto's brought in enough to hold off a hard charge from Tampa Bay.
    1 Toronto
    2 Tampa
    3 Yankees
    4 Boston
    5 Baltimore

    AL Central Prediction:
This is probably going to be one of the tighter divisions yet again. I predict that it will be a 4 team race through much of the year... then you'll have me being the red headed step child except vs Minnesota where I will win games I shouldnt... AGAIN . Detroit has the young pitching 1-4 to push forward. Aaron Harang will try his best to get headlines away from another largely offensive minded team, not to mention Carmosa.
    1 Detroit
    2 Cleveland
3 Minnesota (Thanks solely to me whipping him again j/k)
    4 Chicago

The big 4 beat up on each other to cost everyone but the division winner a playoff opportunity. Oh ya at the other end of the scale way behind everyone else.

    5 Kansas City

    AL West Prediction:
Not enough has changed to significantly affect the order from the end of last year.
1 Anaheim (I refuse to say LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
    2 Oakland
    3 Texas
    4 Seattle

    Wild Card Prediction:
Tampa should edge out The AL Central as they have to beat up on each other.

    NL East Prediction:
After Florida its a toss up. Florida is one of the elite teams of the NL, they should be coasting come playoff time. Philadelphia spent some money and that should help them move to the "best of the rest" in the division.
    1 Florida
    2 Philadelphia
    3 NY Mets
    4 Atlanta
    5 Washington

    NL Central Prediction:
One of the busier divisions this offseason was the NL Central. The Cubs and Reds spent big time money to bring in free agents, Milwaukee spent some.

    1 Cubs
    2 Milwaukee
    3 Cincinnati
    4 St. Louis
    5 Houston
    6 Pittsburgh

    NL West Prediction:
Theres been some pretty big turnover in the NL West. With Colorado trading away Matt Holiday among others, and SF starting to make their push.
    1 San Diego
    2 San Franscisco
    3 Arizona
    4 Los Angeles
    5 Colorado

    Wild Card. Not sure.

I think I'll win the Wild Card again. I'm returning the same young team. I upgraded at closer and upgraded Dan Johnson with Matt Holliday. Holliday in LF, DeJesus from LF to DH, and Dunn from DH to 1B. I will once again have at least a top 5 pitching staff (we were #1 last year) and a top 10 offense...barring too many injuries, I think I'll win the Wild Card for the 3rd year in a row (4th year for the AL West).

Houston must be so bad that they didn't even make the prediction page.

You just wait until mid year. Altanta is going to be the new power house in the League.

I think the Wild Card could be very competitive this year. I do bring back a top 10 offense but my pitching needs to step up on the learning curve a little.

Wow, second in the West. I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with that considering my teams total lack of power.

Slyder and Provie have no respect for the Rockies. Holliday and Ramirez are upgrades over Johnson and Street...???... I predict Colorado will at LEAST come in 2nd behind SD. Colorado is young and built around pitching and power.

yes...they are slight upgrades. that's why you got the better prospect than I did...the one I got will probably never amount to anything. Guzman is a very valuable role player since he plays 5 positions.

Brewers should hopefully be a solid 2nd place again behind the juggernaughts.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Watch for another mediocre record posted by the White Sox. That is unless King Felix decides to start living up to his nickname. Then we might have something.
