    NYY-COL Trade part II

    Colorado trades:

    Ben Sheets-SP, 4.5, 10 million
    Edgar Renteria-SS, 2.5, 8.6 million

    New York Yankees trade:

    Mark Mulder-SP, 3.0, 8 million
    Bobby Crosby-SS, 2.5, 3.062 million
    Wilson Betimet-SS/3B, 1.5, 350k
Matthew Jennings, RF, 4.5 prospect, MLC
Tyler Clippard, SP, 4.0 prospect MLC
Adam Davis, 2B, 3.5 Prospect, MLC
    Jessie Hoover-MR, 2.5, 300k

I added two prospects... if this doesn't get it done, I'll just wait until free agency... everyone is pretty much expendable in this deal, I'm only not thrilled about losing Jennings or Clippard... everyone else is pretty much worthless

I think the only reason to pass it is mainly because it will probably take 5 minutes for me to lock sheets up afterwards.

i dont really care if you can sign him or not thats not really my problem. i dont say that to be a dick, i say that as thats the attitude that should be taken for this deal, as its the attitude i took for the previous deals involving colorado dumping and acquiring fas to be.

yeah... I am kind of being selfish as I want sheets... but if this is the best deal out there for him(he wants mulders ground ball %), and is in love with crosby for whatever reason.... If he'd rather have this than the first round pick, I don't blame him. I'm getting sheets off the market quickly.

would like to see him getting a little more, but I think I will pass it... just because otherwise, he will be getting nothing, and he knows that NYY is the only team who will take a chance on sheets at this point probably.

Well, I want him in free agency... so I'd like to keep him from hitting free agency. I really don't want to give up this much, and honestly, I don't want Edgar Rent-a-retard, but I don't want to look like I'm getting Ben Sheets for free... so I threw in some extra stuff and took on a bad contract. So he's getting decent salary relief and a bunch of nice players

i'd like to see colorado get more as well, but he put himself in this position, so he'll probably be happy to get anything at all. the financials match up fairly well, so i'm passing
