is it possible that a deal with so many high stars could involve such mediocrity. im gonna pass though, as the only piece in this deal who i actually like is humberto sanchez... villanueva is nice, but its a long ass way to his talent, and hes gonna be 25 in another 4 months or so. narron and stewart pretty much out and out blow, dont care what narrons rating says... riccardi blows too.

villanueva is just a paper prospect, barring a development miracle, he'll never be of any use. outside of that, its kind of crap for crap except for sanchez, who is actually developed enough to be of some sort of impact.

seeing as its the deadline and all that, this is the kind of deal i chalk up to general manager judgment. if you want the main components of your deal be a nicely developed SP prospect for a completely undeveloped(albeit superior in potential ratings) SP prospect, so be it. doesn't look good in my eyes, but i have no problem letting the GM find out the hard way that it was a bad move. such are deadline deals, in OOTP and in the real MLB.
