    SP Johan Santana

He won't resign with me, so the risk of acquiring an ace failed.

I am only looking for PM Offers. No AIM offers will be accepted at the moment. Its easier for me to counter offers.

I am looking for no less than.
A 24-28 yr old ML Starter with no less than 8-8-8's or a Big Time Infield Bat
    A 5.0 Spect Hitter
    A 5.0 Spect Pitcher

I do think this guy is worth at least that. If he makes more money, I would need cash back in return to soften the blow of what he can potentiall make.

I don't have exactly what you're looking for, but sent a preliminary offer. It may not even be enough, but I'd still hesitate to do it... I think I'm just a little desperate right now.

If a team want a Ace pitcher, that is top 10 in QS, W, ER, IP, R/9, K/9, OPP BA, WHIP, BABIP and not to mention ERA? I'm sure someone will pay.

I wouldn't if I thought I might not sign him...that's just what happened with you. also, one could wait for FA and just pay a shit load of money instead of losing talent for him.

Porter, Don't make a move without talking to me. Colorado has what you want. I am not sure I would give it up w/o assurances of a long term deal under a predetermined amount of money. I may agree to a trade and then a follow-up trade that has players based on what Santana does with me. I'll check him out and make an offer soon, but I will want a quick response in return for my aggressiveness. Even if it is a resounding NO!

I got Porter's approval to talk to Santana's agent and as soon as I said who I was he hung up and blocked my phone number . LOL, gotta love being Kansas City Royals .

Porter, I gotta move Helton before I can talk Santana. If Helton is an option coming back to you... LMK I am willing to include Roe or Reynolds in the right deal...

To let anyone know straight up, I will take my time in making a decision with a deal, I would wait until after the draft to make a deal. I have gotten 4 offers so far and I'm evaluating all offers. Those who have sent offers should have gotten a reply. If you have any offer near that area just send it in.
