    I got 2 of my 5 offers. I'm pleased.

As for Tampa, well, he got the 1B he wanted (so he can either platoon with Fullmer or play Millar until he falls and then throw him in the backup OF/1B position), and then I threw Bartosh a short deal on a whim and Meadows is a solid RP.

A 1 star SP gets 7 million per for 4 years? Sure it wasn't supposed to be 700k?

    Pierre is a flamer!!

    I offered 3 years @ 4,100,000 per year... = 12.3 mil.

The flamer took 4 years at 3.2 mil... = 12.6 mil.

You would think he'd go for his last big contract at 32 instead of 33... but

On the flip side, I offer Romero $3.1 mil for 4 years and he takes 400k more for one less year...

    OOTP is definitely unpredictable.

Overall... very conservative bids. Kudos to the league! the big money went where it should have so far... (with the Meche exception)

    my top 3 signings:

    Pettitte for 6.5 mil
    Guillen for 7 mil
    Lilly for 3

If I thought for the briefest of moments that Pettitte or Guillen would sign for less than 10 mil... I'd have been all over them. Very interesting first round.

the Pettitte signing was just great... ratings wise, potentially the top pitcher. And he's signed really cheap, and for just the right amount of years. props to LA.

I overpaid a bit for what I wanted...but hell...I had the money, and neither should die by the time their contract is ending. I'm pleased.

i forgot i offered to ted lilly truthfully... but jose guillen, i was pleasantly surprised to see only one other offer to him (from kc i believe, but not sure... the money was only 3x3 though).

matsuzaka took way less from dave than you, right dry? you were the one who offered 15+ for 5, right?
