It was basically Walden and McPherson for A-Rod, at least from my point of view. Cabrera and Escobar are there for money reasons. I don't like McPherson much, and Walden is injury prone which I hate. Adenhart is good, but meh. I get a nice set up guy and a SS.

i dont mind prone too much... mike mccullough is prone. if he (walden) develops, i love the deal... if not, i filled 3 holes (#2 or 3 sp, though id probably have him be the ace so i dont have perez or maine against the carpenters and dtrains of the world, 2b and 1b... admittedly none are outstanding, but they fill holes nonetheless) and cleared another 10 mil out to make some moves in free agency. cleared out pedro and delgado... then cleared out arod. beltran is still young enough to be traded, despite the contract, so maybe ill get that done... wagner im stuck with, but what can you do. went from in debt, and looking like id be there for a while, to... having no debt, at least. the product on the field is gonna suffer though, what cna you do.
