wtf? a 10,4,9 talent SP alone is worth Harang? wow
harang is 8-7-8 turning 29 and werent not winning this year
Tucker is 20, nice rating right now, throws 96 and has good consitentcy
...I had by my count 4 diff specs that were 4.5 or higher offered to me, he was the one I liked best.
did you misread my PM? Because was offering more than one player...I was prepared to give you 2 or 3 of those specs depending if you wanted someone else, too. As long as you got who you wanted...I thought it was going to take more than one spec with terrible control.
I read your PM. I strongly considered it. Control isnt everything...espcially since he has already met his talent rating in control. He should still be a good pitcher, this isnt my first trade in my life afterall, ; )
I know you read it because you replied; I didn't mean it like that...sorry...I just meant I wasn't sure if you knew I was offering more than 1 of those guys.
yeah, I realized that...and I know the ML pitcher you offered was better than his rating. But I felt Tucker had more upside down the road for me. Especially winning this year is far from my main concern.
Yeah...you could have gotten more allbablalalblablablbalbabal.
...I may have been able to get 2 4.0 level specs. But, thats not what I wanted. believe me, I know...i had about 6-7 teams ask about him.
I too felt that Harang may have been worth a little bit more, because of the control issue.
But I passed this trade for one reason, for the record: Tucker is only 20, and his control is filled out... if he gets a boost, even if it's 2 points in the talent department, he's going to be an animal. Even without that boost, he's still damn solid.
Could he have gotten more? Maybe... but I found it fair, and it is what's in the eye of the beholder.
Anibal Sanchez > wild thing there
