breaking it down, the only thing that would skew it is the fact that so many players are going to NYY. but with A-rod involved, that's bound to happen unless a shitload of cash is sent that way too.

the only thing I'd suggest if it doesn't pass from tim or mission's standpoints, is another spect in the range of 2.5-3.0 going to NYY, to sort of even out the players. that being said, I'm going to pass it as is anyway, because it was going to be hard to hammer out a deal including a-rod no matter what I think, and if this is already agreed upon and the money works out, i have no problem with it.

    so pass.

Of course I'll pass... I'm getting rid of that bum A-Rod... The way I see it is it has to be a lot of players coming my way, because of a 27 million dollar contract.

yesterday you told me to get a 3 star spect thrown in on my side... now i gotta throw one in on his side? personally, i think with the prospect AND heilman, im giving up too much, but it is arod. pedro skews the deal, because hes still a monster... if he dies quick, then heilman and gomez are cool by me, but if hes still capable for his contract... then the only thing hes getting thats scrubby is delgado.

Delgado shouldn't even be a factor... he is dead and blows anyway.

nah erik, like I told you on aim, i think he may need to give up one more prospect from his side.

And yeah, I didn't even take Delgado into factor of anything more than a salary evener.

Personally, I think the Mets are overpaying, I'll have to think about it. Obviously most of it's older players, with a big dead contract in Delgado, but that prospect really tips the scales IMO as it's not like ARod is a spring chicken in comparison since he'll be 32 this season.

Assuming Gomez isn't a huge factor in this deal from NYY, and it could be worked around dealing him... I'd personally prefer if a slightly lesser spect was going to NYY. A Fernando Martinez or Ambiorix Concepcion type of guy. Not neccesarily one of the two, but someone that fit the mold of those two more so than Gomez.

Humber works for me... Gomez is actually the smallest part of the deal for me... I mostly need pedro for now, because my pitching rotation is depleated.
