are we doing tradeable draft picks? its in your faq that you stole and you got us into this nonsense, you peckerhead. if we are using tradeable picks though...
thumbs up closely. kennedys talent works out to be equal to arroyos, and the 2nd rounder makes up for the readiness descrepency in my book.
woops. i didn't even look over the faq- I just read it when I first joined, and didnt remember that part.
i'd prefer to no tradeable picks, honestly. I don't even know how to trade picks truth be told. we need to figure out if picks are going to be allowed to be traded, so hit me up on aim whenever you wakeup. i'll be on a lot today except around 10:00-12:00 because of the doctors.
that out of the way... on the contrary, i liked your idea from awhile that we give pick compensation to teams losing MAJOR free agents, to make up for it. now of course, we'd have to determine what calls for a pick and what doesnt... but it could make free agency a lot better, i think.
for the record, i'm not voting on this yet... i have no idea if pick dealing should be allowed. i don't even know if there's a conventional way of doing it on ootp.
with or without the pick being dealt, it looks fair... but i'm holding off until we work this out
I didn't even know if we were allowed to trade picks when I agreed to it.

i would like to eliminate trading picks... because it doesnt happen in real life. however, the plan of losing draft picks based on who you sign in free agency... this has potential. ive been thinking about ways to make it work too... since this only occurs in real life, if you sign a guy before a certain date... we can make it if you sign a guy in the first 5 day sim, you lose a draft pick depending who it is you signed... and we'll put together a list every year of the players that are compensatable, before free agency of course, so guys will know. it should add another interesting element to free agency.
Si, that's why I do it in my league.Originally Posted by Hammer

me and nick discussed the trading picks... we're not gonna do it, so this is declined. walls, ill pm albbla to let him know the situation... a 3 star prospect is all it should take in place of the 2nd rounder to make it work.
Ok, I'm willing to go with a 3.0 star instead of a pick.
