Cubs Chicago Cubs Offseason Trade Block

I'm not neccesarily looking to move anyone, but the players in place that are available include:

SS Cesar Izturis 2.0 Stars ($3,650,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p461.html
Is available for the right price. I probably value him most out of my bummy middle infielders, because of his excellent defense and potential contact. He may be least expendable, but is still available.

SS Ronny Cedeno 3.0 Spect ($300,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p2331.html
Still very young and could hit talent developments. Pretty much ready to contribute. Looking to maybe package with some other prospects to land a nice power bat.

    2B Ryan Theriot 2.0 Stars ($300,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p3648.html
Not very expensive. Could be a decent bench guy for someone. He or Bynum need to go, because I don't have room for both.

    2B Freddy Bynum 1.5 Stars ($300,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p1441.html
    See above.

OF Jacque Jones 1.5 Stars ($5,330,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p438.html
Still pretty solid against righties. Could platoon. If I can't deal him, I'll platoon him. Con is he has 2 years remaining, but at only 31, he'll last. He could be a poor man's Trot Nixon if you don't want to push for him in free agency.

SP Jae-Kuk Ryu 5.0 Spect (MLC)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p2070.html
He's about a year away from being developed, but has pretty good ratings. Number 3 spect in my system if that's worth anything. Looking to add a power bat.

SP Juan Mateo 4.0 Spect (MLC)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p4075.html
Pretty much ready. Again, looking to add a power bat. Possibly would package him with Ryu if the bat was good enough.

    SP/MR Glendon Rusch 1.5 Stars ($2,000,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p10.html
He's a bum, I know. But I figured I'd put him on here anyway, incase someone needs a #5 or mopup man.

MR Bobby Howry 1.0 Stars ($4,000,000)
    http://www.tripleplaysim.com/p477.html
Rating could be decieving. Very good GBP, 8/7/8 talent, and throws in the mid nineties. Don't want much for him.

    Off-limits:

    Carlos Zambrano
    Mark Prior
    Aramis Ramirez
    Derrek Lee

I'm not looking for MLB-ready talent (incase a trade for some of my spects) that plays 1st or 3rd. Those positions are occupied. Anything else is pretty much fine, though SS and OF is preffered.

Nada, got absolutely nowhere to play Sweener, and Sanders is too old for what I'm looking for.

Cleveland has interest in Izturis, Mateo, Ryu, maybe Theriot, and if Dempster is available...

just for the rec, Ryu is gone.

pobably going to keep Izturis, but he's still out there if someone really likes him enough.

Mateo could still be had, as he's probably not in my rotation plans for this year.

Most of your 7ish contact MI still interest KC. When very similar like your guys are I value better D. Let me know.

bumping. unknown if i'm going to wind up getting my main man, and my other main man didn't even listen to contract offers from me.

so with that being said, should i leave free agency without a slugger, i'm definitely looking to acquire one via trade.

mateo is available, and he's ready. pawelek could be available should the right piece come along.

i'm NOT looking for anyone really old. these two are very young, and in mateo's case, ready to contribute to an mlb team.

feel free to send a feeler in this thread, and/or pm me... but i'm not really open to settling in on a deal until i'm sure how FA will play out.

Colorado might be a good trade partner for Izturis... Check my block and LMK via PM, please.
