That's why I traded Puig. I couldn't stand the low stats for his ratings, and then his ratings eventually fell off, and I got what I could for the guy just incase his ratings fell any further off.

    Puig hit .083/.267/.083 (2/24, 2 singles, RBI, 4 Runs, 6 BB, 8 K, 2 SB) in AAA. Promising...

I just noticed that Chatwood throws pretty much every pitch, even a knuckler, and he tops out at 93-96 mph. Holy shit?

Its bad enough that I can't seem to do a full rebuild in my own division because none of the other GMs seem to want to step up and contend for the division. I've finished first 6 out of 10 years and first or second, 9 out of 10 years.Part of this is a rant, but part of it is a challenge to some other GMs to step it up! Come on.
    Totally agree OM

Washington was crazy not to do that Puig trade. Terrible contract and lost talent across the board. Chow isn't far from being called up and now he has plenty of flexibility...plus just took the division lead without him.

Yeah I was basically thrilled when I got Chow, because I tried a similar deal with Baltimore with a far less developed prospect and I had no such luck.

I'm not sure if we do it with raising the salary cap, giving them a prospect, or whatever but this model can't be sustained with only 2 or 3 teams buying at a time
What makes it any different than any other league on this site? There's usually a lack of buyers unless you get multiple eager beavers who join the league and run a muck with budgets well beyond their ability to pay them. I hated trading Burdette and others but I did because that was the ONLY market for them. If I can get Murphy resigned I can then go with my team pretty much as it is. I'm just now getting to harvest the fruits of that labor in MSL.

I'm always willing to buy depending on the pieces involved regardless of the team, if it makes sense. Like right now you tell me I could get an 18 year old of similar talent for guys like Pleasants I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I sure as hell wasn't happy having to trade players like Darvish, and Stanton. I would've loved to keep those guy, but with the cap I had to move them.

its completely different... we have 1 or 2 buyers in the entire league due to CLE's dominance etc... MSL has at least 4 or 5 every year... when a 105 win team sells its bad news...

It might be cause of the salary cap but the league can't sustain itself if bad teams can't improve by selling players

I think the cap has been great for competition and strategy.

I think the concern if there is to be one, is the wacky hitting engine and what not. It's beyond frustrating.

My concern is having three aces and being in last place.

I figured your concern would be Tulo chasing the Ellsbury Line
