That might be a good idea... put him at 1B in AAA or even at MLB and let him play for awhile.
He'll sit in AAA for now. It was just a way to keep him on the bench and auto depth charts would not have put him at 1B. His career fell apart after that season-ender in 2005. He lost talent and ratings. He hasn't been the same since (.846 OPS and .853 OPS prior to the injury and .677 since).
So, I'm looking at the box scores and notice my lineups are a jumbled mess. Did Ichiro get hurt yet again? He needs to lay off the tofu.
