    Blue Jays Shake up in the Jays front office



    Despite being offered a multi-year contract with an opt out clause if he was unhappy after next season,Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos decided he did not want to even give it a try to work with Mark Shapiro who will soon take over as President and CEO from Paul Beeston. It is believed that Shapiro may bring in someone from his former Indians or possibly Tony Cava the Jays assistant GM, who also worked with Shapiro with the Tribe.

    The Jays have named Tony LaCava as interim GM as Mark Shapiro takes over as president and chief executive officer.
