Snider jammed his wrist last night, and is likely an option for the minor league DL...
Looks like the battle continuesBlue Jays optioned OF Eric Thames to Triple-A Las Vegas.
Thames won the starting left field job over Travis Snider during spring training, but he's hitting just .243/.288/.365 with three homers, 11 RBI and a .652 OPS across 160 plate appearances this year. Snider is currently sidelined with a wrist injury, so Rajai Davis figures to get most of the playing time in left field in the short term. Mike McCoy has been called up in a corresponding roster move and will provide some depth while Yunel Escobar (groin) and Kelly Johnson (hamstring) deal with nagging injuries.
HAZAAA.
As you can tell, this season is going swimmingly.

Wow, totally didn't realize I did that.

I liked Snider. Gonna miss him.

If Moises Sierra can hit like a combination of Ruben Sierra and Moises Alou, you'll be fine.
