    Hopefully it goes better than the long-term contracts that the Blue Jays gave to Eric Hinske, Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, Lyle Overbay, etc.

    Those were Ricciardi contracts. This will save them money in the long run but I would have waited to pull the trigger on a deal like this.

    And the White Sox thank Ricciardi for the Rios contract.

    Fun Romero stat: he's only allowed 10 homeruns on the season, while Brian Tallet who has just 5 starts in 21 appearances this season, has allowed 15 homeruns.
