Blue Jays recalled RHP Casey Janssen from Double-A New Hampshire.
Janssen has been dominant during his rehab assignment (0.76 ERA in 23 2/3 innings), and gets the start Saturday for Toronto. Janssen looks fully recovered from labrum surgery.
Blue Jays recalled RHP Ricky Romero from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Romero was dazzling for Toronto in three starts prior to his oblique injury this season. He posted a 2-0 record and 1.71 ERA, along with 13 strikeouts in 21 innings. For now, he'll take his place in the rotation, and if he pitches like he did earlier this season, Toronto will be hard-pressed not to keep him there.
