Snider Demoted

The Jays said after Thursday's game that they're sending Travis Snider back to Triple-A.
The organization again smells an opportunity to save some cash. This is the right time to make the move, with three DH-less games coming up this weekend. Snider was homerless in his last 80 at-bats, and the Jays had stopped mixing him in against left-handers. Kevin Millar will likely take on many of his at-bats against righties, with Jose Bautista also getting additional starts on occasion. Joe Inglett could be called up.

This is for the best and hopefully Snider takes the demotion well. He was my pick for ROY (think) and could reemerge later on in the season. Jays have hit a rough patch of late so maybe a roster change could be a good thing.

Young guy like that needs to see pitch's and he's not getting them at the moment.
