    Blue Jays Jays record since Cito Gaston took over

    the Blue Jays are 78-51 since Gaston has taken over as coach again, it's the best record in baseball since then

    also they are 13 games over .500 for the first time since August 12, 1999

    That's an impressive record by Gaston, although not as impressive as Tim Johnson's military service record.
