    Blue Jays (11-10) vs Rangers (8-13) - 4/27 to 4/30

ok ok I been avoiding doing this the past week or so, that losing streak took a lot out of me. 3 wins against Boston and New York were great too (if I got to watch the Yankees one, damn Rogers).

Because of the rainout Wednesday, all the Jays starters were pushed back one day. Burnett pitched great against the Yankees on Thursday.

Friday, April 27, Rogers Centre, start time 7:07 PM ET
Saturday, April 28, Rogers Centre, start time 1:07 PM ET
Sunday, April 29, Rogers Centre, start time 1:07 PM ET
Monday, April 30, Rogers Centre, start time 7:07 PM ET

    Pitching matchups
    Friday
Robinson Tejeda, RHP (2-1, 3.55 ERA) @ Josh Towers, RHP (1-2, 3.44 ERA)

    Saturday
Kevin Millwood, RHP (2-3, 5.46 ERA) @ Gustavo Chacin, LHP (2-1, 5.32 ERA)

    Sunday
Brandon McCarthy, RHP (1-3, 9.00 ERA) @ Tomo Ohka, RHP (1-2, 6.23 ERA)

    Monday
Vicente Padilla, RHP (0-3, 5.79 ERA) @ Roy Halladay, RHP (3-0, 2.58 ERA)

I wouldn't bet too heavily against Texas when Tejeda is pitching. He was solid last year and has been the Rangers ace this year. Everyone else in their rotation, probably safe to to bet against. heh

Quite a game going today though. Rangers up 4-1, Blue Jays take a 5-4 lead. Rangers tie it at 5, now Jays leading 7-5. That's a real see-saw battle.

    Re: Blue Jays (11-10) vs Rangers (8-13) - 4/27 to 4/30

    Pitching matchup
TOR: RHP Roy Halladay (3-0, 2.58 ERA)
Halladay is 1-0 with a 1.56 ERA in two starts this season at Rogers Centre.

TEX: RHP Vicente Padilla (0-3, 5.79 ERA)
Padilla is 2-0 with a 3.29 ERA in two career starts versus Toronto.

    Player to watch
A right thumb injury to starting catcher Gregg Zaun has opened the door for Jason Phillips to receive more playing time. The 30-year-old is hitting .357 (5-for-14) with one home run and one RBI in his career versus Padilla.

Sosa got a RBI double in the 1st.

Glaus hit a solo HR to tie the game in the 2nd, Stairs hit a single and Aaron Hill hits his 5th HR of the season to take the lead, 3-1 Jays.
