Questions heading into Spring Training for the Blue Jays.
Looks like J.P. Ricciardi is done with the team until late July.
What do you expect the lineup to be, who will fills out the last two spots in the rotation also who gets that last spot(s) in the bullpen? Backup positions are also going too fought over as always.
Only lineup question is Shortstop, who will start? Royce Clayton, John McDonald, or Ray Olmedo? The order could be twisted around a lot too, with no real no. 2 hitter and limited left-handed hitters (Zaun and Overbay being the only LH starters), what does a manager do?
Roy Halladay, A.J. Burnett, Gustavo Chacin are the uncontested top 3 for the rotation, with Tomo Ohka, John Thomson, Josh Towers, Casey Janssen, Shawn Marcum, and Dustin McGowan, fighting over the last two starting jobs, money say Ohka and Thomson until they lose the jobs, but then who gets the 1st shot after them?
B.J. Ryan, Brandon League, Jeremy Accardo, Jason Frasor, and Scott Downs are locks for the bullpen (I feel like I'm forgetting someone). Who fills in the last two or three spots.
Then we work all the way to the bench players. Infielder Jason Smith was selected in the Rule 5 draft, Matt Stairs is expected to the 4th Outfielder and part-time DH. Hard not to see John McDonald on the bench. Jason Phillips and Sal Fasano will fight over the backup catcher position; each has their pros and cons.
My final question will be (feel free to add your own).
Will the team be strong enough to fight over for the division?

IF the pitching stay healthy we will be right in the thick of it in the east and in the wild card. Our offense is deadly and our defense is very solid.
