o's take an early lead 2-0.
Jays really need to get rid of this figuro guy he has no business being in the majors or in AAA ball for that matter. Cut him or put him in A ball please.
The team looks flat today, and some bad defense so far.

Im not the Genius that traded for Brandon McCarthy. And my name is certainly not John Gibbons...
It happens sometimes. It is difficult for the Jays, who play in a domed stadium, to go to a place like Baltimore where the Chesapeake Bay winds come into play. It is very difficult for any away team to come into Baltimore where there's been bad weather. We had a front come through this weekend, and the winds were unpredictable today, and I'm sure at the game.Originally Posted by Roy31

Scouting Report:
Taubenheim, a 23-year-old right-hander, has made two starts and two relief appearances since being called up to the Majors for the first time last month. He lost both starts, allowing three runs on five hits in five innings at Colorado and five runs on six hits in 2 1/3 innings against the White Sox. He has not faced Baltimore this season.
Bedard started the season on a 4-1 clip and has lost four of his last five decisions. He's allowed a total of 18 earned runs in his last three starts and has pitched five innings or less in six of his last seven starts. Bedard went 1-3 with a 7.85 mark in May and lasted just three innings in his first June start, so he should be fresh. In two starts against Toronto this season, he is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA.
