I was just reminded about LaRoche's talent boost in sim 2 to 8-7-9-6-8....now it disappeared without any kind of notification? Huh?

Ask the Giants GM. He wanted LaRoche in a deal for Schmidt.

He could have mistaken adam for andy since... like I said
if Adam had improved either his talent or ratings that much, it would have said so in player development "Adam LaRoche has taken his game to the next level!"

That's the thing: It DID say that on my Player Development page. And now it aint there anymore.


And there's no way, because when I clicked on him before, he was on my roster (I don't do the whole alphabetical thing).

General is correct. I asked for Adam LaRoche because his talents had increased when we talked about Schmidt. With 8-7-9-6-8 ratings and superior defense at first, that becomes a player you don't want to miss out on. It has become a ritual of mine to check PD's of each team after sims, and it was indeed in there prior to this previous sim.

LaRoche's ratings are the same as where they were after the last sim. Check the non updated site if you don't believe me.

I had a player lose some talent, then it came right back, which is why I didn't question it. General isn't crazy though, something weird happened.

Zito, you're missing my point: If Laroche's talents suddenly dropped to 3-3-3-1-2, I wouldn't care. Thing is, ALL RECORD OF HIS PROGRESS IN PLAYER DEVELOPMENT IS GONE.
