It's tough to have good pitching when they die during development all the goddamn time, too. I knew I should've never drafted a SP with a top 3 pick, but hell, it wasn't like he was struggling either.

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA
AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHA
Screw you OOTP
..|.. ..|..
Top two teams in the AL go down 4-2.
The two BEST records in the league cannot even force a game seven...
But the NL, which was much closer... easily win 4-1...
GFY
Glowing Fruit Yodles?
to be fair, you at least lost to the 4th best record in the league. it wasnt like my team was bad... my pitching has been lock down all year, only worse than baltimores. im a little surprised baltimore lost like that... 4 really good starters, i dont even really see one exceptional one on boston. but the cpu always has different magic in the playoffs when its managing itself.
My series with DMB was pretty close as well. One extra inning game, a run to win in the top of the 9th, and a closer blows it in the clinching game.
Good comments. I'll like them when I get to a computer that doesn't have such a restrictive firewall.
OOTP gave Baltimore the royal shaft. I had to go get professional therapy after seeing the results this morning. Extra inning wins in games one and two and Lovejoy's injury.... Boston gets a 4 hit shutout out of an extremely mediocre staff.
OOTP truly demonstrates the cruel hand of fate. This is the 4th year in a row (including 2 World Series Champs) that Baltimore has 92+ wins and we still can't get fan interest above 85. I did 5 promo games and won I think 4 of them and not one boosted fan interest.
I think I'm going to go cry some more.
It takes a while to build a financial giant. Your broadcast revenue increased from $44 mil to $52 mil so you're going in the right direction. You were a 4th/5th place team 4 years in a row before that.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

Also, I wager if you used more promo days coupled with beating non-White Sox named teams, it would have increased.

By 2033, no one knows what a White Sock is.

Be that as it may, the O's fans weren't impressed when they beat you because the fan interest didn't increase.
Well obviously.

The White Sox did start the proud tradition of CPU/OOTP ran teams winning the WS though as Dam's GM-less team beat me one year, too. How embarrassing...
