I edited the age of the Cuban defectors to 29 each.

Took him in the 2009 draft with the 23rd overall pick. I took a lot of flack because other GM's felt there were much better options at that time. I want to say he had 7 contact talent and was below average everywhere else. He boosted to 9 contact talent, and developed enough to get called up early in 2010.

I've never been asked about any other player more in terms of trade talks. He spent a whole 20 seasons with the Cubs. Even as his talent declined he performed better than you'd ever expect. 6-4-5-5-7 bat last season and still stole 48 bases.

The crazy thing is he stole about 4 bases the last two sims. That's exactly what he needed to get to 2,000 in his career. Last three seasons really hurt his career totals in terms of AVG and OBP. I've seen a sim player quite like him.

Second all-time in stolen bases doesn't even have half of that total (my homeboy David Ramirez with 975). If he only had some gap power, he would have been up there in triples I bet.

Not a bad start to the season for my Indians. 10-8 record in first place and leading the league in batting average with a .313 ba. My staff is off to a slow start. If we want to win they need to pick it up.
