And my 2026 predictions
AL East
1. Toronto
2. New York (WC)
3. Tampa Bay
4. Baltimore
5. Boston
Toronto did lose their stud closer to Detroit but their offense too powerful to finish worse than 2nd. New York has improved but their offense is unproven and their pitching is thin. Tampa Bay did a great job in FA but they are three pitchers short of competing with the Yanks and Jays. Baltimore and Boston are still rebuilding. Guizar (BOS) has the makings of being ARod in Texas.
AL Central
1. Detroit
2. Chicago
3. Cleveland
4. Minnesota
5. Kansas City
Detroit is the class of the AL Central. Their bullpen and offense will carry that team. Chicago has a good offense are looking to get younger while competing., You almost compare them to the Spurs or Celtics with their philosophies. Cleveland are average on offense and in their bullpen. The Indians have potentially the best 1-2-3 rotation. Minnesota have to repair their depth to have a shot. Kansas City is in full rebuild mode.
AL West
1. Seattle
2. Oakland
3. Texas
4. Anaheim
Seattle has 3 time Cy Young Winner Thomas Bonney and a decent offense. The rotation is good and the bullpen has a ton of questions marks. Oakland has the young guns to make things interesting. Texas has a good offense but lacks depth on pitching. Anaheim lost Joel Ibanez and seem to be on the down turn. All 4 teams have WC potential at the very least.
