it happens, if you progress them right they should gain it back. sean matt mustve declined and progressed about 8 times in each direction for me. i just traded for melchor colon at the beginning of the season, he already declined in contact. he'll get it back, or he'll be totally worthless... those are the risks of trading for prospects (and being the royals and thusly being in constant rebuilding mode)

Melchor will come back....once you start Hardy full time.

There goes St. Louis again! Started off the season with 0 top 100 specs after trading them away. And 3 sim into the season they have 5 top 100 specs again. How do you do it? What am I doing wrong! How are your already 10-10-10 talent pitchers getting talent boosts?

The top 100 doesn't necessarily mean anything. It doesn't just take ratings into account; it also takes their stats so if a slightly above average spec is raking, they'll get listed. Kazutoshi, Stout, Gamble, and Torralbo are all flawed specs. Look at their talent. I have no idea why Powell gained talent yet again. I always seems to get pitching talents boosts in this league, but not much in the way of hitters.
