    Dodgers LAD Deadline Wants, Needs, and Desires.

    Los Angeles is interested in:

    1. a starting pitcher that can hold down the back of the rotation and get through 6 innings every fifith day w/o giving up 8 runs.

    2. a power-hitting OF

    Los Angeles has MLB players such as Furcal, Ethier, etc available as well as some decent talent in AAA. All LAD prospects and draft picks are discussible in the right deal.

    Boston:

    No interest in Maxwell, some interest in Bay, no interest in Moss, and I am interested in Schneck but am concerned about his development, age, and AAA stats. I may not have what you would want for either him or Bay.

    Cinci: I may have interest in Lee since I have a franchise with the potential to handle that contract and a pile of money coming off the books at the end of the season, but it really depends on what you would want in return. Please PM me with who you would want from LA in exchange for Lee. Please know up front that may biggest concern is not the size of the contract, but the length of it. With this being a new league, I will want to know what GF has the aging settings at. I don't know if a 37 year old will perform at level worth 18 million. I will not let this stop me though if the player return is right. I will risk his crashing for the right deal and take the chance on putting him in Single A and forcing his old ass to retire.
