Offseason Talent Losses

Probably the one thing I can't stand most about OOTP, how can guys lose talent when they aren't even pitching badly... losing talent once its obtained in the offseason is so damn annoying and messes up your plans... too bad we can't just ban it

I agree. Last season in the TPSL, I signed Ludwick to a contract extension. Somehow in the offseason, he was injured and is out the entire season. It doesn't show up on the reports or anything. Not a huge loss, but since he is older, it seems like a wast now to have even resigned him. I know it's an injury and not a talent loss, but it's the same type of OOTP mystery. I really do miss BOSI. As far as development, you could see the development that doesn't even show up on the OOTP reports, and it always seemed like there was a lot of it. I really wish I could get that back for the SBSL, but I'm told it is an impossible task. I might try to at least get CATO, but I've never really used it, so I don't know how difficult that is to install or if it is still being supported.

I dislike it when we lose talent during the playoffs. I can understand it for teams actually still playing, but theoretically, everyone else should be on vacation. I doubt everyone is pulling a Jeff Kent and "washing" their bikes.
