How would it slow it down?

I mean, yeah, you'd have to wait a bit longer on the same night of the scheduled sim to see it uploaded on the site, but for all intents and purposes the season would be moving along at the same speed.

Only, we'd have a bit of shenanigans watching the sim move along in the chat room.

But, yeah, whatever crazy wants to do is obviously fine by me. I just kind of miss the live sims because they're pretty fun.

it's slows shit down because they get delayed often times, people send shit during the live sim, which drags it out, and so on. it really doesn't matter to me. Crazy will run the league how he sees fit. That's also a Saturday night so I'd guess that not a lot of people would show up either. It takes a lot of time and effort to run one of those and I commend him for it.

I comprehend how it gets slowed down on the same night, as I mentioned it in the post.

I'm more asking....why does it matter? If you're not there you still see the upload when you check the site after it's done and the following sim still takes place when he would have done it with a non-live sim, I imagine.

That being said, I just remembered there's NFL playoff games that night so even I might not be there, so I withdraw my request.

it gets delayed as I said. remember the ASG? took forever for people to choose a date, then some people couldn't make it, and then Crazy had some internet issues. Who knows, maybe he's still having internet issues. It's much easier to just sim it and be done with it. Then we'll have the trade deadline break I imagine.

They're a great idea and I commend him on it as I said. It just seems that not a lot of people show up for the amount of time and energy he needs to put into it for it to be worth it. Even when we were attempting the ASG, only 4 people were there when I showed up an hour late. I'm not sure if more people were there at 10.

I wouldn't expect him to keep delaying it until everyone finds a good date.

The request is more along the lines of "do a live sim on the night of the sim? If nobody shows up, or only 1 or 2 show up, screw it and auto sim"

If that makes any sense.

I miss the live sims too, it would be nice if they made a reappearance at some point. Maybe after the trade deadline?

Here's the main problem with live sims. I usually don't know ahead of tie if I will have the time for a live sim, because as we all know...they do take much longer than a regular sim. How many of you know for sure that you will have the time to be there? It's more probably that I could do it on very short notice. The problem with that is that fewer people would likely show up. Although, I would like to do some live sims sometime this season. The chances of them happening next season may be very slim. I want to focus a lot of time on the player project. At this point, I don't know all that it will entail, but I'm expecting it to take a lot of extra work.

Yeah, when we first started them, we would have over 10 people there, and it was a lot of fun. Then we started getting 3 or 4 people and some stragglers, and it didn't seem worth it. since it still does take a lot of time. I do like them though, they are just time consuming.
