Boston still gives up way too much talent IMO. Did they just add Eddy and send it back to the TC? Did they seriously think Eddy would offset the fail that Boston was giving up too much? That's kind of embarassing....

Also, Cabrera is more than a salary dump IMO. He's quite good. I know he's sucking this year but his ratings and age are still enough to make him more than a salary dump for a team in first place.

Christopher is better than Macomber. Weiser and Closter are even. (one slightly more talent, the other more developed)

I could see Eddy and Cabrera cancel each other out value wise if one agrees that Cabrera is a salary dump, I don't think he is...

Why are Callaspo and Morales in the trade??? Vegas needs to give up more value to offset the difference between Christopher and Macomber as well as Callaspo and Morales.

[On a side note, if Boston needs Macomber to fill out one last position to gear up for a WS run and is willing to overpay, I may reconsider. I don't see this though.]
