Part 1- Lineups
First off, I will again repeat this, any player traded or acquired goes directly to AAA, so don't assume they are on the 25 man roster. Also some teams have more than 25 men due to the expanded rosters in September, make changes accordingly and be aware like always, not everyone will accept demotions.
Promotions
{Position Name then from current level to....whatever the level he is being promoted to}
3B E. Munson, AAA->MLB
LF L. Nix AAA->MLB
SP R. Freierbend A->AA
Demotions
{Position Name then from current level to....whatever the level he is being demoted to}
LF Todd Linden MLB->AAA
If you do your promotions and demotions correctly, there really is no need to write up a 25 man roster. It's a pain for me to check and like mentioned, if the promotions and demotions are done correctly everything should be fine.

{IE, position changes}
Change AAA LF Todd Linden's position from LF to RF.
Part 2 – Trades
When sending me trades, it helps me the most if you send me to them in this format:
Team 1 trades:
(player name), (player star rating), (salary)
Total Salary: $x
Team 2 trades:
(player name), (player star rating), (salary)
Total Salary: $x
For example:
Philadelphia trades:
2B Chase Utley 2.5 stars, $830,000
Total: $830,000
New York (N) trades:
RF Kenny Kelly, 2.0 spec, $435,000
MR Heath Bell, 1.0 stars, MLC
Total: $435,000
*Important Rule: You may only rework a trade twice for a total of 3 tries in the Trade Council. The Trade Council will determine if a trade is an attempt at a rework or if it qualifies as a new deal.*
When it comes to trading Future Draft Picks:
If you trade a Future Draft pick
1) It loses all protection (so if its a top 10 pick its still moved)
2) If you are not normally protected (11th pick or worse) You are not eligible to offer Class A FAs... this is because you don't have a 1st rounder to give up as comp
Teams without a 1st round pick Will be able to offer to Type A's in Round 5 (They will give up a 2nd rounder if signed)
Examples:
A)
ATL Trades 2013 pick to MIN
ATL finishes season in playoffs and gets #23 pick
MIN recieves #23 pick in draft
ATL not eligible to offer to Type A's til round 5
B)
ATL trades 2013 pick to MIN
ATL implodes and finishes with #9 pick
MIN recieves #9 pick in 2013 draft
ATL can offer Type A FA's
Sign and Trades are allowed but understand they will be evaluated strictly, if you are unsure, agree to a deal BEFORE offering the player and get pending TC approval
The one thing PLEASE avoid is typing this:
Team 1 receives:
That format is confusing because then that tells me I have to go to the other team, and it gets rough.
TRADING CASH:
In this league, you may compensate for a players’ salary as much as you would like FOR THIS YEAR’S SALARY. You may not cover a players’ salary past the year you are trading him in.
You also may trade as much straight cash as you would like, as long as you have it.
A few other trading notes:
-You MAY do multiple team trades. However, you can not do circle trades. A circle trade is the following:
Team A gives a player to Team B, Team B gives a player to Team C, Team C gives a player to Team A.
The following 3 player trade IS allowed:
Team A gives a player to Team B, Team B turns that player around to Team C
You may send me those as 2 separate trades, but inform me they are contingent upon each other. Such as if the deal where Team A gives the player to Team B passes, but the trade saying that player going to Team C fails, the whole deal will fail. Otherwise Team B will be stuck with a player they may not want.
Part 3: Team Strategies and Promotions
I stole this from TPSL, sorry Nick!!
Promotional days are days that increase fan interest, but cost money to schedule. You must have team cash to be able to schedule one, and it has to be during a home game.
Here is a picture of the options you have for the promotional days:
Team Strategies is a section within the OOTP game:
This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 512x514.
The first link is to a picture of the options for the team offense & defense tendencies. The second link shows the individual options for pitchers and hitters.
If you have a team strategy change, want to schedule promotion day, or have any other note that you need to make, place this part of your change at the top or bottom of your PM. In the case that you are making a team strategy change, unless you are maxing out a category, please indicate how many clicks from the center you would like me to move the bar. This is the most practical way to do this since it's hard to judge otherwise.
Part 4: Spring Training:
Every player has 20 points you can allocate to different sections to direct a player's focus during spring training. There are 4 sections for any player, hitter or pitcher, so naturally the average points allocated to each section is 5. Any higher than 5, and that area has a chance to increase. Any lower, and it has a chance to decrease.
The hitter categories are: Contact, Power, Eye, and Defense
The pitcher categories are: Stuff, Control, Movement, Endurance
Here's how I'd like you to post:
You have 2 options. You can either simply say "coaches suggestions" and they will tell the players what is best for them (generally this is the low risk-low reward option), or you can move the sliders yourself. If you're going to do that, here's how you want to post:
LF Carlos Lee: 5-8-2-5
SP Roy Halladay: 10-2-2-6
