2020 Opening Day Sim: Thursday 10/30 10AM EDT (Deadline 9AM EDT)

The first sim of 2020 is set for Thursday 10/30 at 10AM EDT with a deadline of 9AM EDT. It will be a 15 game sim. This will give you a couple days to make trades and get all your changes in. If a team does not send changes, then they will be auto managed or I will make moves at my discretion depending on the shape of the team(s).

Free agents are now first come, first served. You still have to at least meet the minimum salary demand that the player has and they still will only sign for 1 year. I will update the thread below so you can see who has already been taken:

I'm referring to tomorrow...hence the "tomorrow" part of my 2nd post there. The deadline is 9AM EDT tomorrow. I was going to sim at 10AM EDT. Now I have to bring my car back tomorrow (I was there today for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, and they were checking on a recall). They checked the recall and they need to replace the part, but didn't have it. They said they had some coming in tomorrow (supposedly) and that they'd call me to let me know for sure.

If they get the part, then I'll be going in at 9 AM EDT...they said it should take an hour, but if you've ever been to a dealership, then you know how that goes. My best guess is that I'd be home by 11AM EDT I hope...so I don't know when. 12PM if that happens? Is it really that important? It will be done. And if they don't get the part, then there won't be a delay.

I have no control over the fact they didn't have the part. My deepest, most sincere, heartfelt apologies if this is a crushing blow. I think I've been pretty regular and on-time with my sims so one delay of a couple hours really shouldn't be a big deal.

my car is still under warranty and a recall is covered regardless. I won't have to pay a dime. I actually have a service contract as well (3 years / 45k miles). When it's all said and done I will have only paid for the alignment. I've only had the car since the end of June 2007.
