Trade Deadline 10/12 8:00pm EST

This is the last sim before the trade deadline, so all trades must be submitted by this time. Hopefully they are submitted sooner so they can pass without pushing the sim back. I'm anticipating a very busy week starting on Monday, so I didn't want to make the trade deadline any later than Sunday since there is usually more involved in these sims than normal sims. I didn't want ot have to push it back to next weekend for the next sim. So Sunday it is. I haven't noticed very much trade activity anyways.

Well not really. I've been mentioning the upcoming trade deadline in other threads like the extensions reminder. You've had all of last week. Like I said, I can move the sim deadline to next Saturday if you all want me to. I didn't see much sense in that if there weren't going to be very many if any trades. We've had so much time off, that I didn't really want to put it off for that long. We can thought if you guys want to work on deals this week.

OK its fine, not a big deal. If theres going to be compensation this offseason I can atleast get something if I cant find a good enough deal.

Next Saturday would be way too long IMO.

I don't really care, to be honest, though. I'm not really actively looking to trade.

I know, but that's why I made that explanation in the first post about why I decided to make the deadline when I did. Normally we do have a few days ahead of the deadline, but I do think this time is different. Part of it is because of some of the things Zito said. Since we did have some time off, some of the GMs aren't on much yet. Also, I think most of us want to play our teams out the way they are before making trades. I think we need a lot of sims in.

We have 1 trade that the Trade Coucil needs to vote on. If we get the trade approved at a decent time tonight, then I will sim. Otherwise, I won't be able to sim until tomorrow night.
