    he's on your block and you've pimped him to Cleveland twice...it wasn't that far out there to think it was the beginnings of the Thome / Lopez craze as those started out in similar fashions I'm just joking around anyway, but it reminded me of that.

    Jim Thome was an unfair albatross of a contract that I needed rid of if I was going anywhere. I don't know why option years get guaranteed in this game, or why money sent in a trade doesn't get applied to the contract.
