The sim is a few hours earlier. I thought I'd try this to see what kin of turn out we would get for an earlier sim. Also, tomorrow is the trade deadline for the MLB. So I thought that this would be a good way to get the night started in the chat.

I'll be busy drinking away my anger over the Cardinals failing to make any significant deadline move to improve the team beyond finally dumping Reyes. Not that I'm pessimistic or anything. Why they weren't able to pull off that "Reyes and Duncan for Manny" deal is beyond me.

All the Mets need to do is offer a nearly injured left handed pitcher who only has one mediocre season left in his tank before going on the DL for the rest of his career. Jocketty loves to trade away talent for guys like that.
