WC expanded to 4 games which is good, hopefully we have no major collapses and i can use these final 2 weeks to get some lineup tweaking done in time for the playoffs

Jonathan Papelbon is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
Joey Votto increased his bat control, resulting in more contact!

Papelbon went from 7 to 9 in control, and kept his rating of 8
Votto went from 7 to 9 in contact and is still a 7 in rating

god damn...outside of Pritchett, Patterson, and my injured closer the pitching has been terrible. Cueto, Cox, and Devine should have better numbers. I didn't think the other guys would be this bad though. All I can hope is that my #2 offense carries me through the playoffs. I'm going to end up with 4 guys with at least 100 RBIs, 4 guys with at least 100 runs, and possibly 4 guys with at least 20 homers.

at least the pitching doesn't give up many homers or walks. Detroit is 2nd in walks with 539...we have almost 100 more walks than any other team

Boston (NL) clinched the NL WC... hopefully by some miracle St. Louis can pass Valhalla for 2nd best NL record so I don't have to play Valhalla.

with that too, my first sim playoff birth!

The NL playoffs are going to be rough. The AL playoffs are going to be like watching a group of retards slapping each other.

Before you think I'm crazy, check this out: 1st in BA, 4th in OBP, 4th in SLG, 2nd in OPS (could lead by the end of the sim), 2nd in RC, 3rd in RC/27, 2nd in AB, 2nd in PA, 1st in H (he has 230), 3rd in 2B, 2nd in RBI, 2nd in R, 3rd in EBH, 1st in TB.
