I think the expansion question might be related to if we find that we've got a wait list for people wanting teams after dropping to 26 or 28 if we can add new teams to open it back up somewhere down the road. Could be wrong though, and like you said before I think a "one problem at a time" approach is best.

yea, one problem at a time. I'm not sure if that would ever happen. And like I said, there are more than 4 open / inactive teams. Eliminating 4 teams would still leave a few inactive GMs. If we had people beating down the door, I'd probably just replace the inactive ones.

a draft would just be for the prospects...it'd be the same draft order as the regular amateur draft for 2017. all MLB players that aren't prospects would be released into free agency.
