Next 2 Sims and Trade Deadline Info

Why don't you sim right up to the trade deadline instead of past it?

That way you give everyone one last chance to make trades.

I don't really care because I have no intentions of making anymore trades, but I always thought it works best when the last sim before the deadline ends right at 7/31 so people can see how their team stands with that last chance to make trades.

Just the way the number of days in the sims worked out, I'm simming past it. I gave everyone PLENTY of warning, as this thread was posted 6 days and 2 sims ago. People had plenty of time to make trades. 11 days in the game isn't gonna make or break a trade for someone. If it does, they could have told me ahead of time and i would have accommodated them.

I wasn't trying to insinuate people didn't have plenty of warning, I just think it works out best if you're able to evaluate your team and whether or not you need to make one last trade as far into the season as you can....aka July 31st.

All the warning in the world doesn't accomplish this if it's simmed to July 20th, and then past the deadline in the next sim.

Doing it the way we're doing it this season effectively made July 20th the trade deadline instead of July 31st, as it is IRL.

That's just my personal opinion, however. As always, run the league how you like.
