    What was Knoblauch's reason?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

    Pressure in NY.

And Blass actually didn't walk any more batters than he had in his stellar year, the defense behind him was bad enough during his good year to make sure more of his runs were unearned.

I don't. But if you choose to believe that the day he came to the Yankees, he woke up and just forgot how to throw, then I'd say that you have a skewed view of things.

    Woohoo.

And his throwing troubles didn't start right away with the Yankees. It was over a year in.

Ankiel has rebounded nicely. And if you ask reefer or CRF, he's a MVP-GOLD GLOVE-AWESOMEST DUDE OF THE YEAR winner.

Okay. Fine. But do you think he just forgot how to throw? No, not even the Yankees believed that. They sent him to a shrink because they thought it was a mental or emotional problem.

No, but it's just as possible that it's because that stuff usually doesn't work. Doesn't mean he didn't have a mental or emotional issue

But the point remains that it's an incredibly flawed argument that he just lost it. It relies on NO SUPPORT OR BASE WHATSOEVER

And look at the rest of Alomar's career. He never looked anywhere near there again
