So, you just take away all growth? I'm not saying to get rid of all regression, only the unrealistic death of a young player in his prime. Only ACTUALS, not talent

But you are protecting your stars... and any player can become a star... in actuals and in talent... you want a super insurance policy, it costs

I don't understand...have you seen any young players die because their actuals were affected without a talent loss? Because all the ones I've seen have had a talent loss affect them.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Re: Franchise Players

My personal idea was to have a franchise tag last for multiple years. And having each team have 1 or 2 MAX. That way if a prospect comes up, but your franchise tags are locked up in older guys, you can't switch, and they are not protected.

I'm defending my perspective. I don't really care one way or the other, because I've never had a player's growth OR death impact my team too drastically.

    Re: Franchise Players

Well, I mean, I've had prospects potentials drop drastically. See Nevin Griffith and Jeff Locke when I had the White Sox in TPSL. But the point is that, I don't think that was what hurt my team, it was just lack of depth. So, I don't care either way, but some players shouldn't just be able to randomly forget hot to hit or pitch

Then they shouldn't be able to randomly increase either.

    Re: Franchise Players

All of the guys listed there had a reason. Whether the reason made sense or not is totally different. The game isn't basing this on a blown save in the playoffs, it's basing it on a random algorithm.
