2016 Amateur Draft Theme Unveiled...

Wait for it...wait for it...

It's going to be a GI Joe / Cobra theme! There will be many players named after Joe and Cobra characters. They'll be set up as follows:

First name: real first name
Nickname: code name
Last name: real last name

example: Conrad "Duke" Hauser

There will be no Snake Eyes since I already have him in Ogai...plus his real name is classified.

I hope there will be no moral objections to GI Joe like there were to the wrestlers (ahem, Giantsfan)...

Tentatively, the 2017 draft will be a Family Guy theme. There aren't as many Family Guy characters and there are that many I can fit in...especially since I'm not going to use the women characters. I plan on making next year's draft really deep and 2017 not as deep so it works out as far as the themes go.

I'm uber excited for a Family Guy themed class. I'm a pretty big fan, but I think depending how out there you want to go. There's plenty of names you could use. Besides the obvious, the only problem might be making up a last name for some who don't have any:

Jack Kern - He and his wife Sarah adopted Stewie when Meg takes Stewie to work for sympathy tips.
Mort Goldman - Jewish guy
Neil Goldman - Mort's son, loves Meg
Kevin Swanson - Joe's son
Broderick Brown - Cleveland's brother
Seamus - That fisherman with wooden arms and legs
Horace - Bartender at the Drunken Clam
Nigel Pinchley - English guy who likes Lois, and frames Peter for burning down his pub
Max Weinstein - Jewish accountant from the FG episode that was banned for a while.
Miles Chatterbox Musket - Guy who helped found the town, and lived with the magical clam.
James William Bottomtooth III - Brian's co-worker at the New Yorker. His son JWB IV is one of the kids who doesn't like Chris when he goes to private school.
Pawtucket Pat - the Willie Wonka of beer
Randall Fargus - long time teacher at James Wood High School. Peter ran for school board to try and save his job.
Jim Stevenson - They move into the house while Lois is out of town, and the bank thinks Peter won't pay back his loan.
Al Harrington - the President and CEO of the 'Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube-Man' Emporuim and Warehouse.
Stanford Cordray - Brian accidentally sells him Stewie's teddy bear Rupert.
Jim Kaplan - salesman, sold Volcano issurance to Peter. Been in a few episodes.
Ernie the Giant Chicken - the chicken Peter always fights
Dr. Hartman - Doctor who appears in a lot of episodes
Bruce - the performance artist who's been in a ton of episodes. Talks real slow and has worked many jobs on the show.
Buzz Killington - British man who wears a top hat, been in a couple eps.
Jackson McGraw - the 007 spoof episode, he was Meg's love interest
Alfred Griffin - the son they have together
Paddy Tanninger - short guy who says "Big whoop wanna fight about it?"
