RULES:

There is only one....the maximum yearly salary offered to any ONE player is 20 million/year AND no contract may exceed 140 million total.


Meaning, the maximum contract you can offer a player would be 20 mil per for 7 years. Pretty lax rules, if you ask me, but I do not want to have escalating salaries.




I'll prolly wind up doing this on Saturday or really late Friday night (meaning, I'll be trashed).


Please PM all offers to me. Also, keep Minor League contract offers to a maximum of 2 per period.

Friday is 5/2/08... My math says 24 hours and 12 minutes from the announcement to the deadline. Whining is not what I am doing.

I agree with this. I am not trying to stir things up. I just struggle with opening SBSL when it is dormant and then it appears that the same off-season check-in is the only thread active thread. So I miss the FA thread because I didn't open the league up. I really want to be active in this league and contribute, but it's tough. I'll keep trying as long as we can be patient with each other.

General, typing 24 hours with a question mark is not complaining. We can take this to AIM. Making comments about co-existance publicly could box both of us into a corner considering the PMs we have exchanged. I have publicly said in this thread that I wish to be active and contribute.
