Ruth Division still 2 games separating top to bottom... looks like it will continue to be a dogfight throughout the season

The good thing is I went 7-3 in my last SIM and the direction I have gone with this team is to try to get younger, especially with the position players. It has seemed to work as some of these players are doing pretty well. My pitching however is what is keeping my team afloat.
Anyone have a catcher they don't need?

A.J. Pierzynski just got injured for 5 weeks and I'm stuck with Josh Bard as my starter and only one other catcher in my entire system.

Prospects are not exactly a cure all, they may or may not ever develop. I've had catcher issues in leagues before but it's like, wow, you always find some teams trying to deal a solid veteran or two. Teams are lucky enough to have one catcher that's decent enough to start. My starting catcher was super utility man Hector Luna, now it's a guy I signed after the fantasy draft, Paul Bako (who's only starting because of the defense).
Josh Bard is a good compared to most of what we have, you were to lucky to have a decent backup. My team drafted two guys I don't know (in effect I signed a couple of crappy catchers just to have depth cause I have 3? maybe. on my entire team). It's easy to see why there's a lack go a good relief pitching, ...32 teams and the concept was it was all on the AI to draft, so it's "spread" out and for the most part, spread thin. A couple of teams have a good bit of relievers. Some have 1 or 2. But catchers, half the league is wishing they didn't have to start one.

My starting catcher is more than fine. My backups are weak though. If anyone wants Guillermo Quiroz, he's available. (with his 5 contact, haha)
League parity is fun, though.
