Basically, my lineup has been anchored by Vladimir Guerrero, who has just dominated: .356, 16 HR, 76 RBI. Crede (.276, 14, 58) has also had a pretty good year, and the rest of the lineup has been pretty good. Catcher John Quirk is only 17 years old, and was a 9/7/8/9/7 before potential losses, but we maintain hope he will become a very very good catcher in the future.
The rotation has been pretty damn good all year. Don "Neon Dion" Sanders has just dominated, but hasn't had much run support, so his W/L record hasn't shown it. Glant has done well despite having very little endurance, and the rest of the rotation has been pretty impressive. Especially Odalis Perez, with low expectations, has 67% quality starts.
The bullpen has been decent, and we hope Andrew Brown can be a decent closer, with a couple relief prospects on the horizon.
Prospects:
Greg "G-Daddy" Wright- 9/9/10/9/10 potential, 7 speed
2007 AAA- .317, 10 HR, 24 RBI, 38 R, 9 2B, 1 3B, 7 SB (44 Games, 186 AB)
Woody "Caveman" Nischwitz- 9/8/9/8/8 potential, 8 speed
2007 AAA- .313, 11 HR 61 RBI, 57 R, 21 2B, 3 3B, 11 SB (86 Games, 310 AB)
Jeremy Jeffress- 8/6/10 potential, 8 endurance
2007 AAA- 11 G, 24.1 IP, 25 K, 4.81 ERA, 1.48 WHIP
2007 AA- 18 G, 43.2 IP, 48 K, 1.85 ERA, 1.19 WHIP
Pretty much in rebuilding mode, going to have a nice team in a couple years!
