In the case of a tie I gave the higher pick to the team with the lowest % according to (in this order, for the first category that there wasn't a tie) home record, away record, extra inning record, and finally record in 1 run games. Texas had a better home record than both TB and STL. The only tie that went beyond home record was between TB and STL. TB had a better % in extra inning games. My 1st round pick goes to SD anyway, but this is exactly how I did it last year. Here is the draft order:
01. CHI (A)
02. SD
03. HOU
04. NY (A)
05. NY (N)
06. MIN
07. TOR (31 - 50 home)
08. BAL (41 - 41 home)
09. CIN
10. OAK
11. CLE
12. PHI (34 - 47 home)
13. FLO (43 - 38 home)
14. SF (40 - 41 home)
15. BOS (42 - 39 home)
16. AZ
17. COL
18. SD [from CHI (N)]
19. PIT
20. WAS
21. MIL
22. LA (47 - 34 home)
23. ATL (48 - 33 home)
24. SEA
25. KC
26. DET
27. SD [from STL (5 - 3 extra innings, 51 - 30 home)]
28. TB (14 - 4 extra innings, 51 - 30 home)
29. TEX (53 - 28 home)
30. ANA
edit: A minor trade between SD and CHI (N) was made to send the 1st round pick...the players were then returned. The STL pick was sent.
