pass...good deal for both IMHO.
Pass as well
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Shouldn't the 14th pick be worth more than a good relief pitcher and a low upside outfielder?
Nope, pass it.
I take it mofo is fail making it 3 - 1 in favor of passing. Martinez is better than any of the true relievers or closers in the draft...and a lot closer to filling out as well. The OF has 9 contact talent and 8 eye talent...he could be very useful if he fills out. I see what SD is trying to do. He's trying to improve his pitching to get to the playoffs this year. He has a couple guys in the pen that haven't exactly helped him...Martinez is a lot better than those 2 guys. I don't know if I'd do this deal as the 14th pick will be a stud, but it seems close enough to me.
bump...the draft is on Friday, let's pass or fail this soon. Nick, Hammer, and General haven't voted yet.
ill pass, the reliever is good though his stats are gonna be far worse in fenway than in petco thats for shit sure. the prospect is pretty good too... to me this is like trading the 14th pick for the 25th pick (martinez), and a 2nd rounder... thats fair to me.
k, it passes...thanks for voting.
