more than Reds ball...and if you actually read moneyball, you'd realize the idea is finding value is what others don't, finding other ways to be successful, etc...the A's as an organization have been a lot more successful than the Reds have been...more than many teams. Year in and year out they are in contention. The book is not saying the only way to do it is to get OBP type guys as many would lead you to believe...that is what was undervalued at the time and so on...if you read the book and missed that, then I don't know what to tell you other than you truly missed the big picture that the book was trying to explain. It really is about business more than it is about baseball.
