    A's Oakland In The Market for a Closer

    I'm pretty set with my team outside of free agency, and am not looking to deal anyone, but I am looking to acquire a closer. Preferably young, cheap, and 3.5 star or better. Depending on what I get with free agency, I may be willing to take one of those big 10 million + dollar guys.

    Possibly. Depends on who signs with me later tonight. I'm looking for cheaper, but if I lose out on the guys I targeted, I am definately interested.

    What about Octavio Dotel? Or Kyle Farnsworth? Both are relatively cheap and could be excellent closers.

    Dotel could definately be an option. Not too big on Farnsworth though

    Trying to get a big bat(willing to take on a big contract), another SP(again, willing to take on a big contract), and a closer/MR(another situation where I'm willing to take on cash)...

    Jenkins does. He is actually the prototype of what I'm looking for. I don't mind the contract, since I have 9 million, and it is expiring. Any prospects interest you?
