Since we gotta go with the power rankings... can we go with the serpentine???? It'd make it more fair for teams who have gotten lucky and simmed better than others, who already have stacked farm systems.

no serpentine, i wont stand for it again... you ****ed me over with the talent dispersal draft, youre not ****ing me over in the amateur draft

edit: that you isnt for anyone personally... just the people who decided that going with the serpentine was the fair way to the teams who had predetermined good teams, but completely ignored shitty teams like the royals.

I believe it was already decided that the amateur draft would be straight...also, the game doesn't allow you to change the order each round...the FA draft we had was a bonus for everyone...why should the shitty teams get 2 amateur drafts when no other shitty teams in the future will get that? What we did was the fairest thing IMHO because the shitty teams got one great spec and the good teams got two ok specs...and now you get your regular, amateur draft.

There is no way the amateur draft should be serpentine: meaning, keep it straight

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

The draft should be straight AND based on last years MLB record. Drafts are based on a yearly evaluation of the state of the franchise, not 60 days of simming after GM's re-tool their rosters... some to the good and some to the bad... JMHO, not too big of a deal, just one person's "logical" opinion.

if we're going by last year's record, that's fine...but if you're going by power rankings, then I think MIL should be penalized for what they did whether it was intentional or not...they should not have the 2nd pick and that makes me outraged

agreed... id help you make it orderly on the board if you could get the go ahead to do it on the boards again. doesnt seem like many guys would be able to show up to a noon draft... though i would, because i have nothing better to do.

I'm free to run it over the weekend if redsfan wants to stick to some breakage for himself. Only saturday football is an issue, otherwise it's just another weekend.

If you want to do it this weekend, then by all means. The only reason why I set it when I did was to give those who might travel over the break time to get back and stuff. I'm down either way.

I still only want 2 live rounds, beings the talent level isn't what it was for the FA draft.
