    Great!!

I was not in love with him because of his contact, but now he can be a great leadoff guy. Although I dont regret trading him since Im making the playoff with the help of Wolf.

I think I might play a bunch of backups during the final sim.
The reign of Calvin Pickering and Mike Napoli begin, muwhahaha.

hey look ****ers, Weeks died and Reed gained talent

    also:

    Carpenter, Sheets, and Harden combined are 51 - 12 (.810 winning %), 0.99 WHIP, 2.23 ERA, 712 K's, 5:1 K:BB, > 10 K's / 9 innings, and 80% QS...can you say 3 man rotation FTW?

Oh yeah well Wang/Johnson/Small are 35-25 with a 4.45 ERA and 378 K's. Keep in mind Johnson has significantly degressed and Wang and Small both don't surpass 5 in stuff.

Then you realize that I'm a lucky Mofo.

Oh, and Mo for the CY. 7-2 with a .78 ERA and a .65 WHIP with 36 games saved. He better get considered at least...

Regardless of talent, Reed and Weeks are both hitting like girls.

Reed gained talent and ratings. He has been hitting a little better since the trade and has increased his OBP. I expect a better year next year as he has gained ratings and should top out with his 8 contact now.

Well, next year's lineup is cinched as Doumit, Eldred/Diaz, Sanchez, Wilson, Bautista, Young, Duffy, Maier and I'm cutting roughly 30 mill in salaries.

The #3 pick in the draft is mine, too, damn KC for sucking worse than me this sim.

team came up strong to solidify the 2nd pick in the draft. lubanski took a talent drop in eye, but increased his power to 7... so hes ready for next year. scherzer and volstad each progressed a little bit, thats nice too.

matos/grudz/lubanski/huber/sanders/buck/costa/teahen/blanco is the lineup for next year, with villegas and gordon waiting in the wings to take over for teahen and blanco. greinke/sowers/perez/haeger/penn or bautista as the rotation... with sisco, ambiorix hamburgers, logan, mujica, griffin and bautista or lenz in the pen, depending on who wins the 5th starter spot.

Pedro loses 20 games for the first time in his career, as the Mets, thanks to a combination of bad offense and players dying, miss the playoffs with an 83-79 record. We had the wildcard lead for the better part of 2 months and we let it slip. This team is pathetic. *sells everyone to Japan*

since my team is in tact for next season, I can just take all of my free agent money and make a run at a big SP to replace schmidt.

For the last week, I started
    Mike Napoli
    Calvin Pickering
    Matt Kata
    Tony Alvarez

They all effectively sucked except for Napster, but I was 8-2 in the last 10. Lost a good prospect, gained another, and Figgins set a couple of team records. We're gonna get swept in the first round. I can feel it.
